I have a B4 and the fender clearance is pretty close to B3. I run 205/60 15 snow tires on Borbet rims with plenty of space.
Fact that size is the OEM size for B4Q, can't see having too much issue. They are wider but height ratio is mild.

Hmm yea.. Idk i thought that one of the big differences between b4 and b3 was that the B4 had significantly more room in the wheel well... I just heard that though so i just don't know for myself... I think it shouldbe good though. And what offset range of the rim can i run, 30-40 mm? Sorry i'm quite noobish on this stuff

The offset of factory rims is 42mm. 15's were standard size on B3's except for early models like the 88' FWD which were 14's.
The rim size is not the issue as the height of the tires in ratio or if you go really wide.
205/60 is rather mild, something like 235/50 would certainly rub or you tried to stuff 17's or 18's even with really low profile tires.
The "correct" tire size is inside the fuel filler door.

It depends more on the tire size then rim, a low profile 15 tire will be smaller then some super fat 14.
