Default 5-lug conversion info...

Ok so today I held the 5-lug Urs4/100 front hub next to my 4-lug B4 hub annnnnnd THEY ARE IDENTICAL! yay. These can be had at ye olde junque yardde for like twenty bucks.

The rear is a problem as you basically have to pay $150 EACH for the rear s2 hubs from Jolly olde England or if you know somebody in Deutchland, maybe less. So far I have not found a way around this, but maybe. I think drilling the hubs with 5 new holes is icky but you could always weld up the old Holes and machine it. Would not save much money at that point.

Default so what does that mean?

the front conversion can be done with little more work than a wheel bearing R&R, and can be done on the cheap?

Default why would you want to go to a 5-lug conversion hassle?

There's plenty of wheels out there..

Just curious though.

Default One other thing, someone posted that the hat offset

on the UrS4 is different than the CQ requiring the caliper to be spaced back a little.
I only know that it's different on the 92 and 93-on V6's. I haven't had a UrS4 rotor to compare.

Default there are some wheels you just can't get for 4x108

for instance, porsche cup wheels, s4 avus wheels, rs4 wheels. ummm... other stuff.

Default Standard urs4. Put 3mm spacers under caliper bracket..

(between strut block and bracket) to compensate for extra offset
