my indash thing shows 52 in the display (the one that flashes then says OK)the dealer and audi shops doesn't know what it means, neither does the manuals

Default I do....

...the "5" means you have a 5 cylinder and the "2" means your car was programmed for the US.

It shouldn't be doing this all the time. To get this to come on you have to hold in the RESET button while starting the car. If it's coming on everytime then you need make sure the RESET button is not stuck.

This has been discussed before and a quick search would have found it.

Here's abother code for ya..
1) Push in the RESET button and hold down
2) Turn on ignition
3) Release RESET button
4) Push in the "lower" function selector and hold down!!

So much fun you can have
