This rare 1979 Audi Fox 2 door(Audi 80 in Europe)would make a dependable daily driver or a fun restoration project.
It has the original 1.6L engine with a 4 speed manual gear box. It has approx. 275,000 miles, but there has been major work done by a professional mechanic. The distributor and fuel injection system have been completely rebuilt and the whole engine has been stripped and cleaned less than 1,000 miles ago. There is no smoke or engine noise, however, it does shimmy a tiny bit under 1,000RPM. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all 4 gears and into reverse. Clutch is very solid. Runs and Drives like a champ. This peppy little car gets between 25 and 30mpg on the freeway!
Interior is all original factory copper color. Upholstery has no rips, tears, or loose springs, but does show discoloration and wear from over 20 years of reliable driving. The dash vinyl is cracked in several places.
All stereo and speaker bays are open and ready to recieve your kickin' sound system.
