Yesterday i came across a audi at the local panel beaters and as a joke asked how much for the bumpers,was hoping to put them on my 1989 80 2.0e. I could have the bumpers for $300 and get the car for free,Its in tidy condition apart from the transmission which don't go.Turns out its a 1990 90 2.3e,Will the trans out of the 80 work in the 90 as I'm hoping or am i out of luck?

Maybe. I'm guessing but yes if they are both either manuals or autos; and both either fwd or quattro.
