So......
When braking to a complete stop with my ABS system on, the calipers disengage. If the System is off everything functions perfectly?? I have a feeling the problem is a sensor, or the ABS unit, but I wanted to see if ANYone has documented a problem like this before.
Likealways any and all help is appreciated~
I love the coupe, hate the gremlins.

Thank you for the advice....
I searched the 80-90.....forums with no luck
This problem only occurs when I go to stop, and there is no error / abs idiot light flashing so I'm at a loss.
Anyone?

This occured to me about 2 months ago, I search and posted on the forum and no one really had a clear answer... I searched the forum and some people suggested cleaning the abs sensors.
I cleaned mine with a clean cloth and put them back as is and since no problems....but I've read somewhere that sometimes the position of the sensor can activate the abs....good luck.....post if you find a clear answer...

...usually if something has come up, it's been discussed in a forum somewhere.
I had a simliar problem in my '96 A6q, where when I came to a stop the ABS would go off (ie. kick in). Turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor. Cleaning did not work in this instance.
