Default 90Q rear drive shaft removal.

Im just about to drop the tranny. The only thing holding me back is the driveshaft. All the bolts are out. So is the center support. I thought it would remove just like the axels do. Do i need the special tool 3139, it tells me in the book to use. Or is my shaft just rust welded to it and needs some really hard wacks to get it off.

Mine was the same, either self or rust welded. I had to pry the driveshaft connection from the lip on the transmission connection, popped right off.

Default Same thing happened to me...........

Hit the CV Joint with a really big hammer.
It may take 5-15 really hard hits.
It is rusted on there.
