i bought my car a couple months ago and found out that it still needs to be recalled for its fuel injector....it is going to be serviced soon...
my car tends to hesitate in the first 5-10 mins of driving...for example..i'll be accelerating when it'll suddenly kick back, even if my foot is still on the gas....it feels like it temporarily stalls out...like the engine is getting no gas....just a lot of hesitation....
also, should i tell the dealershiop anythign else when i bring my car in for this recall....
thanks,
paul

The dealership will look-up your VIN on a National Database, and see what has or has not been done as far as recalls go.
Be advised many recalls have a "time-limit" either in months or mileage!
Your problem sounds to be caused by old O2 sensors?

You are convinced that replacing a 9 year old fuel injectors will have absolutely no positive effect on an engine that is stalling and seemingly struggling for fuel flow?
I'd have to respectfully disagree... I guess we'll know when his car gets back from the shop.

Howdy! I believe the recall also included one of the fuel rails, is this correct? Wasn't the recall also done to correct a running issue as well? Must say I have seen plenty of burned 90q's in yards.

I didnt write that.
I'm simply stated the recall of the injectors has nothing to do with performance. The recall was for safety reasons.
The original post, linked a performance issue with the injector recall.
Its "highly possible" the 2 are related, then again not.
A hesistating car, while cold, tends to be more of an O2 sensor issue.
Replacing injectors with a bad O2 wont fix a thing!;o)
Bad injectors can cause an O2 to go bad.
Bad injectors can cause the O2 & cats to go bad.
So he may have all 3?
We will see.
