95 Audi 90 upper oil pan.. Is there a diffrence between the AFC and AHH?
Is there a difference between the AFC and AHH upper oil pans? I need a new upper oil pan and I need the AFC unless they are both the same. Anyway I know the lower oil pans are slightly different on the two so I suspect the upper might be slightly different.
I want to buy it used to save some dollars. I stripped a hole where the 1.8bar oil pressure sensor goes. I tried rethreading it but the whole is now too wide and wont take the plug without leaking slowly.

There is a VIN split (for the AAH/AFC switch over in '95) - what's the last 6 of your VIN?
If it's 025821 or higher you need the AFC upper oil pan. You can get it off of any AFC car - '95 90 with the above VIN or higher, '95-'97 A6, '95-'98 Cab, '96-early to '98 A4.......
