I was examining my friends Jetta the other day and noticed that the tracks for the seats look just like the ones for my seat. I took out a tape measure and got the distance between rails on both cars. The same! Next time he comes over, I'm going to see if he'll let me swap out passenger seats just to see if they interchange. If they do, that should open up a wider variety of aftermarket seats for our cars! No more having custom brakets made!
