Trying to install the A4 sport wheel on my 93-90.
Looking for a write up or help. Got everything needed: wheel, clock spring, Steering Column + cover.
Hey Tecknoquatt you did this mod, any advice?
Alex's (S-Cars Instructions) link for this doesn't work!
Mike aka Hokie_90 write-up doesn't apply; he has a 95, which is a direct swap.
Thanks

so if the splines don't match you'd need a fvck of a lot more parts... TOO many to be exact.
but then again i could be wrong; just goin' on memory
check yah later

making the airbag and horn to work gets a bit more complicated but you can mos def use the proper A4 sport wheel on that car

As long as your a4 sport wheel is from a 1996 1997 or early 1998 A4 you wont have a problem. If the column covers and column switches are the european version then you are good there also. I didnt notice you listing a machined sleeve adapter that is required. If you have the column covers and switches from a 1995 audi 90 you still may need that sleeve adapter... but Im really not sure. I havent taken my friends apart on his car to look at the differences. You mainly need to know which wires go where to make sure things will work properly.
I opted to leave my airbag in-op so i will die on impact ;D but my horn is fully functional but it still doesnt get everyone outta my way in traffic like i was hoping =)
As for the rewiring you'll have to ask Audi_80 aka Alex
