hmm... a razor to take off the old glue? that's brilliant!! i was scared to use a razor to take off the old glue on my audi emblem in the back of my car i was scared of scraping the paint so i used my bare hands instead. i got all the glue residue off too!

It's been a few years since I've tried this...but AutoGlass Specialists (the guys with the little red trucks) used to provide this service for free!
(Of course you had to go to their store for them to do it.)
