Funny, I picked up a used Volvo airbag from pick n pull
They didn't have any problem selling it to me. Cost $20. They also do sell 02 sensors I think. Only the cats are a not allowed. I restored a lightly damaged(front end hit that set off airbags) Volvo 940 wagon. As far as replacing you Audi one I'd check with the dealer. Volvo had that same sticker on their cars and kept on extending the dates. I think it is now up to 20 years for cars made from 87-92. Not sure what Audi's policy is, but knowing them they probably left it at 10 to get your $$$.

Did that go off in an accident or prematurely?
I know of a few people who instead of putting in a new bag changed to the later 3 spoke S line wheel with airbag from an UrS4/S6 or A4.
