Alarm ?, is a viper alarm stock on our cars?
my car has an on off switch, and a light in one of the extra pods on the center console, and when i took it apart and followed the wires, it went to a box that says viper on it. Lately however the alarm has been going off sparatically, so i just diconnected the fuse. Well needless to say im sick of manually locking my doors all the time, and want to get it fixed, just wondering if it was an aftermarket alarm.

Howdy! You have an aftermarket alarm in your car. If it is misbehaving just disconnect power do it. That box should have wiring coming into it, follow to any plugs or splices, check for 12v at those points and disconnect the power to the alarm unit.
