I've had a set of gear wrenches since I was 20 or so, right around when they
first came out with the slim design's. Sears had them for years but they were big and bulkey and couldn't be used in tight spaces.
They make life that much easier, every DIY and shady tree mechanic should have a set, and at a pro. shop its a basic requirement.
