I installed some 194 amber blinkers on my new RS2's. Since the state I live in does "safety" inspections, they require a working blinker, as well as the working marker light.
I basically installed a 194 bulb & socket, by using a Dremel to cut out the round hole, out of the RS light, while retaining the OEM RS city light.
Wired them up to the OE blinker plugs, and it works like a champ! No resistors required! ;O)
The yellow bulbs can be swapped for chrome looking 194's, which still blink amber, but are more hidden inside the housing.

The glass comes off very easy. Held on with clips.
The plastic section I dremeled, comes off very easily too.
I used 2 rubber 194 bulb sockets<img src="http://www.taillightking.com/images/LightBulbs/Side_Marker_Socket_SqaureHole_Push-InBulb.JPG" border="0">
You need to Dremel out approx 5/8 hole, then 4 tabs. I used a flat file to make the 4 tabs, which allows the end of the 194 bulb socket to enter, then twist it to lock it in place.
