Default another CQ sway bar question? Could I easily find a junked 91 CQ rear bar and put on my 90CQ? The --

400 FWD bar seems a bit complex to install. I would really like a pic of someone that has welded one on but now I am worried the oversteer will be too much for snow driving.. The 4000 bar is from the FWD but seems pretty fat.
Would the OE 91 CQ bar bolt on to the 90? I remember it was bolted to the strut towers on the 91 so that might not work on my 90?

Default Coupe Q's are very "rare" to find salvaged............

The largest front anti-sway bar Audi made, was on the 1987 4000 Quattro. ;O)

Default Depends....my '90 has the rear bar-link rod-strut setup. I've seen one way of installing a 4k bar..

...in which you cet the bottom of the link rods off, thread the rods, and attach the bar with washers, bushings, and nuts. There are photos out there in the ether we call google.

Default Was that the 26mm or 28mm dealio?

There has been a lot of discussion on the eS2 list lately...but I havent had time to read the posts yet. Including info on an ADJUSTABLE ASB by Whiteline in Australia!

Default The 90Q20V sedan is much less rare...

...and came with a 14mm rear bar, same as CQ I believe. Tom & I pulled one off at the local u-pull-it and along with the later-style struts and subframe, installed it on his 4KQ.

Default By rare, he means hard to find. Keeg searches for those cars.

I only know of one other coupe in a yard here in washington state.
