Kevlar can be repaired by any <b>good</b> body shop that deals in composite materials, like carbon and glass...No need for a new panel, and kevlar (or carbon/glass) does not dent. It cracks/breaks. BTDT with glass and carbon...The body shop I use put "humpty dumpty" back together (it was a 196x Mustang Shelby Cobra race car with the entire front clip in glass fibre and SIGNED by Carrol Shelby himself, Fred saved the signature and you can't tell the body work was repaired).

...the gas flap is some 2500 EUR, while the hood is 12500 EUR IIRC.

The vents in the hood will run you something like $1100 for the three pieces. I was going to use them in my glass fibre hood, but not for that money. I'll just glass in some painted galvanised mesh for cooling/intake air flow...

Really outrageously expensive, even considering it is Kevlar. They must have smoked bad pot when writing that price tags. Or used one "0" too much, whatever...
