Another weird little thing happened in my Audi...

The gas gauge dropped to nearly E (it was 80% full)....rose back up, and played this little game for about 2 minutes. It has done it 3 times, appears to be done now. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

did u just get it replaced?? Audi has a problem w/gas gauges..

well a number of types of Audi's have had it gas gauge recalled.

i believe we have the same gas gauge.

My gas gauge doesn't work....was it recalled?

i had mine replaced cuz i had problems of it reading empty ..

i started seeing my gas gauge have problems and then seeing a news story on tv, A6 w/defective gas gauge and its recall. then the light went off in my head and i stopped in to my local Audi dealer the next day and it was replaced for free, maybe only to the coverage of the the news, i bet if there was no new story they would have told me get the hell out of the dealer and put gas in it.
