Any difference from 90-91 quattro coupes?

I looking to buy a 90 or 91 and was wondering if they added or deleted anything between the years?

What are the major problems found on these cars with a 100K+ miles on them?

What type of mods to the engine can I do and how much HP can I wring out of it? Chip? Cam?....

There are differences but I'm not sure what exactly they are...

I know the engines are slightly different from comparing both of my brothers CQ's (one has a '91 the other has a '90). Other than that follow Miktip's advice and check out www.20v.org for the scoop.

Minor changes...

...the 90 had a tubular header and steel sunroof. The 91 had a cast exhasut manifold and glass moonroof. Also the ISV units differ slighty.

No MAJOR problems f the cars been maintained properly...mainly little dumb quirks, nothing serious if you consult the 20v.org mailing list

These engines arent easilly tuned up; I have an exhaust, and K&N...eventually a chip if i have 200 bucks burning a hole in my pocket. No drastic increase in power...sounds alot better and is more fun to drive, though
