i was thinking of Redline 80w140, is it good enough?
Can i check oil level in rear diff, or i have to dump all oil out and fill it up?
How much oil does it need?

Xel's got a quattro, and you must drain and fill the rear diff every once in a while...It takes 75w90 GL5 spec gear oil, otherwise the diff wears and breaks.
Xel is a little overzealous though, 80w140 is too thick for the rear end.
Factory fill is synthetic for both the transmission and rear diff. I need to drain and fill both of mine again, its been a few years. Should probably do the A6 and 5kq too.
