Any tips for replacing the valley pan gasget. Also anyone got torque specs.
torque specs of anythign I have to remove to replace it. How long should it take me? 12v Audi 90 1995

When I changed mine, I didn't ever, ever, ever want to do it again...sooo
1. Make sure the mating surface is super clean
2. Torque to 15 ft/lbs (although half of the bolts can't get a torque onto)
3. Optional: I put a fine coating of RTV sealant on both mating surfaces.
The real bugger in the whole thing is trying to clean things up, and putting the bolts back on the EGR. I had an oil leak from the head gasket which I was hoping would have been the valley pan gasket. Was a real mess to clean up so that I could tell where the leak was coming from
