Default I've heard of that.

My one friend from school has a friend who did that to his civic. Throws will be shorter (obviously), but it will require a longer reach. I dont think it will affect the mechanism at all

Default i cut it 1" shorter & then "re-threaded" the top so's that I could screw on the OE ****

Before:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53503/shift_arm_-stock.jpg">

After:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53503/shift_arm_-modded.jpg">

seems to have worked fine. Since my new threads were cut sooooo poorly, I used a few wraps of teflon tape just to help secure the ****. But there's no metal sleeve inside the **** -threads are in plastic-, so as I screwed the **** back on it cut new threads for itself. Easy-peasy...

check yah later

Default pic of my short shifter...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/27335/shortshift.jpg"></center><p>I have installed the Eurosport kit, and cut down the shift rod by about 1 3/4".

It's a little notchy, but the throws are much shorter compared to the stock setup. Take a look at the pic to see what it could look like.

All I'm looking for now is an A4 ****. Anyone?
