Anybody replaced the front subframe bushings? You need a press to do it?

Something that could possibly be pressed in by hand or with a vise. Anybody got any BTDT's on this?

I also was unable to drop the subframe out of the car due to my custom welded exhaust system, so I suspended it from the car and used this following makeshift tool. A press will work easier, but if you don't have access to one this may work for you.
I used a long thread bolt (fine course cause a coarse one will strip) the bolt must be at least 2.5 times the width of the subframe to account for the bushing during re-install. Next I used a flat washer, smaller in diameter than the bushing on one end and an oversized high impact socket ( this has to be big enough to fit over the subframe and deep enough to accomodate the bushing)on the other end.
Assemble the socket on one end, place the washer on the other and the bolt through the middle, throw the nut on the end with the washer and tighten the bushing into the socket. Reverse the bolt for installing the new one.
