Default Anyone got any ideas how to loosen this bolt?

It's the lower bolt on the front brake caliper of my 93 90S. I am doing brakes and a CV joint and this *thing* is all that stands between me and "step 3". It is a 17mm bolt. I would appreciate any suggestions for a poor man who can't afford an impact wrench.

I can only get the car high enough to (barely) get a 2-foot length in. I have tried beating the ratchet handle with a hammer and that has not worked either... Any other ideas? Thanks!

Not a bad idea- though I am a little concerned about heating that area because of all the stuff around it- like piston seals, etc. I am letting it soak right now with liquid wrench though. Good idea!

Default I know the bolt you're talking about. I got so fed up I....

put the wheel back on and drove over to a garage 150 feet from my house and let them do it. If I had more time I could have arranged to do the work myself at the garage but I just wanted it done. Frustration took the better of me.
