I will be driving along with my lights on, then when I turn my car off and turn the headlight switch off, the lights still stay on.
No matter where I then position the switch the lights stay on.
I then have to turn the ignition to auxilary, and flip the switch reseting the problem and the lights go out.
The only common thing that is going on when this problem happens is that I was playing my stero (probably pretty loud) before I turn the car off.
I have an amp hooked up to the battery just like the wiring harness per Jim Bush's (and others) instructions.
Anyone have any ideas?

and do you turn your lights off before or after u turn the car off? if its the same for both, then nevermind this post, but it kinda sounds like the power gets cut off from the switch if you have the car off before turning the lights off (bad relay)

I had the same problem when one of my relays got wet in a rain storm. After moving them to a more sheltered locale (and replacing the faulty relay), no problems since.
