Here's pics of mine from the same peeps. And I don't think Evo1 is a good reference because it's a completely different film with alot more metallic reflection. Yours is much less reflection, more of a charcoal.

Here's my car in decent light, 20%(remember I have slightly different film as well because I went with the Carbon series)
<a href="http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/jibberjive/RS6%20Build/?action=view&current=PC100010.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/jibberjive/RS6%20Build/PC100010.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/jibberjive/RS6%20Build/?action=view&current=PC100009.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/jibberjive/RS6%20Build/PC100009.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And here's some in a really dark area of the garage (so not the best representation, but the only other one I have)

Hey JibberJive. Thanks for the pics. That really helps. Mine looks real close, but I am almost certain its not 20%. Whatever it is, it is the same all the way around, most likely 30/35%. I was sitting at the back of my car and I could see straight through the car. I could even read the writing on the climate control. I really need to snap some pics of what I am talking about. Stay tuned.

What I'd do if I were you is roll to a police station and tell them you're looking at buying the car or something and that you want to know what the front windows % is because you're going to make the guy remove it if it's illegal, or something like that. I'm sure they won't mind metering it for 10 secs.

That's a very good idea. I was just going to get a tint meter, but that works too.

Once again, I cannot thank you enough for all your input. I really appreciate it.

IIRC harbor freight had a cheap meter if you're looking to buy.

I just thought I remembered seeing one when wandering in store, but if it's not on their website then it doesn't likely exist.

Alright-

So I called and spoke to the manager of the shop (today), John. He was really nice. Pretty sure he scheduled my appointment. I dealt with a Jason when checking out and he was quite rude for me being a cash paying customer. Regardless after speaking with John he agreed to a test using his tint meter. I asked him if there were any possibility that this could be 30%, could they have picked up the wrong roll at all? He said no but still agreed to using the tint meter.

Either way if I am wrong, then I am wrong and that is okay, the tint meter will decide.

JibberJive- do you know the tint shop people? They seem to know exactly what I was talking about, almost as if they had an "inside" man on this forum or something. Quite odd.

Nope, don't know them personally. Just saw their ad on KSL for the special a while ago and had them do my car. I don't remember the names of the dudes I dealt with, but one seemed to be owner or manager or something, and there was a younger kid helping him. Maybe their knowing what you were talking about is a sign of guilt? I can't imagine they randomly happen to be on Audiworld. Either way the guy I dealt with seemed cool and I can imagine if he's the one you're dealing with that he'd be willing to correct it if it is a mistake.
