Default Anyone want to buy my UrQuattro?

Or is it a Coupe GT? It's got the flared fenders and hood vents, but I think the GT's had that too? It is an '86, that much I know from the imprint on the subframe...

And yeah, it needs new paint and is missing one of it's rally style fog lights. It also appears to have some rust around the driver's side window frames. It has pretty big wheels too. Here's some shots of it in action:

I apologize if anyone thinks this is off-topic! I just found it cleaning out old junk and was highly amused (then again, I'm very easily amused...)

Default Maybe I have the sport quattro? hmm... (edited)

I couldn't find anything similar on EBay... just VW bugs and such

Looks like I'm actually missing 5 foglights, not one. Dammit! And I thought mine had big wheels...<ul><li><a href="http://www.puremicros.com/sc-autos-m-audi.html">Looks like it's just a "Quattro Coupe"</a></li></ul>

The old CQ didn't have the box-flared fenders IIRC, only the TQC did. Therefore, you have a "urq."

I'd like to get an awd RC car chassis for my old Radio Shack urq body, and maybe find some wheels that look like ronals or fuchs...

Default I was just thinking the same thing about RC

There are some really good WRC rally style chassis out there (HP4 comes to mind) which usually come with a 206, Evo, or STi body. I was thinking one of those with an S1 body on it would be sweet. I know they sell pre-made A4 bodies for the touring/rally car chassis, but that's all I've seen... if I can't have the real thing, at least I can have a scale version of it, right?

Default If you want to measure the Radio Shack S1 body...

I can then tell you what RC chassis it will fit on.

Default Re: If you want to measure the Radio Shack urq body...

The radio shack car isn't an S1, its a plain jane us-spec urq with the quad headlamps...

I believe its a 1/12th scale, wheelbase is shorter than the Tamiya M-02L chassis, but width is "ok." BTDT, made a shorter center "monocoque" section a few years ago, but it turned out pretty crappy, and have since shelved it. I'm trying to get my parents to measure the wheelbase again, and see if it will fit a regular M-02 or M-03, which both have a 210mm WB vs 239mm of the "L". I'd love to get an AWD chassis, but the shortest I've found in a 1/10 is 239mm.

I meant HPI RS4, not HP4 (don't know what I was thinking)
