Default Anyway to cheesebox your airbox on the 10v audi 90/any other intake mods...?

I didnt know if anyone had ever done a cone intake on the 10v'er or if it was possible because of the MAF sensor or other parts...?
I was just thinking cause I have a b4 hood and I have some vents that I could have put into it before I get it painted, but it would be useless if I didnt have someway for the cold air to get into my engine. Unless I just use the vents to keep my engine as a whole cooler, which would be unnecessary. Thanks.

How about a Jamex lower air filter? Open element, direct replacement of the factory air filter housing (the bottom half of your airbox)...

Default I guess that would work...

but I was finding out if putting the hood vents that I have into my b4 hood, would serve any purpose other than just looks...Thats why I asked about cone intake so that the air could just go right in.
Thanks

No cone for the CIS, only open element filter is the Jamex unit. I have one w/heat sheild sitting on a shelf, unused (hint!). Not using it with the MC (has to do with a vac. line port I need on the airbox), but used it with the 7A.
