I dont know if this is even remotely possible but, has anyone ever attemted (and succeeded) A audi V8 to a audi coupe before? I have a 1990 audi V8 thats a total, and a 1990 audi coupe quattro with a Rieger EVO 2 body kit that im converting to B4 style front end. Any links would be helpful as well as any criticism about taking on this tall order.

We've got pretty much all the parts to do it now, only thing left is engine mounts, and lots of time. I've twin turbo'ed my v8, theres a couple others that have as well.

If this is your first swap it won't be the easiest by any means, but it's definitely do-able.

nice set up you have there .Do you have any idea what kind of time you had in your first swap? I do collision repair at an audi dealer in st louis ,not to mechanically knowlegable but have some porsche mechanic friends.I guess my biggest question is what type of flywheel will I need for the V8? and will I have to swap the tach out with the V8 tach? I really need some links on this to read up on the do's and dont's

So what flywheel do I use for this V8? Do I go to audi parts and get an OEM one or will the flywheel work off of the 2.3 coupe?I plan to run the stock coupe tranny if it will work.

by linking directly to a flywheel that will work in your exact application, stating above it's a swap thats very do-able and that I have direct experience with numerous times. Silly me for trying to trick you by linking to a flywheel that fits a v8, is readily available, and will work fine with a coupe tranny. Can't put a thing past ya!

Oh, and you're welcome to head to your dealer to get an OEM V8 flywheel here in the states. Just be sure to be sitting down....
