First of all a Happy New Year to you all!!!
Now I have a question, I hope someone can help me out.
I have an Audi 80 1.8s from 1988 and lately it is acting pretty weird for two weeks now.
When I start the car for the first time a day everything is fine. Then after driving for about 4 miles when I shift up the engine just starts to stutter as if it doesn't get enough fuel and it seems as if the engine almost quits completely. It's only at a low RPM (1200-2000), because when I go over 2000RPM it drives normally. When I stop and try to pull up it does the same thing.
Then when I stop after driving 8 miles in total (Arrived at work) it is hard to start the car again immediately after I've stopped the engine. But when I wait for an hour or more the car drives just fine for the rest of the day, no matter how far I drive it.
I really don't know what could be wrong. Does anyone know? It is getting colder over here (almost freezing) and maybe that has something to do with it? I would appreciate any help/suggestions very much!!!
