Hi All let me tell you anyone that says you do not have to remove the dash to replace the heater core is lying you do and it is a big job which I just completed. Any one have and question on the way to do it write to me.

I got a question? Oh Thanks for the info. The other day after changing the heater core. I noticed coolant flowing out under the car on the passangers side away from the pump but the pump was not circulating coolant. So I took off one of the hoses from the pump and poured coolant down the hose and it all came out on the underside is this the pump where does that pump attach

Call the dealer if you don't believe me. They change the cores without removing the dash. They only charge $150 to do the job. You figure $80/hr times how many hours it took you to do the job. Do you think they would charge only $150 to do a 6-8 hour job??????????? Don't believe it call them.

Look at the design! Look at how the heater core sits in its black box! Its removed via the top!
But first the black box it sits in has to be removed! Because inorder to pull the heater core from the black box, its tucked up under the dash!
