Audi cabrio 1998 ADR Engine
Hi i am a new member to the forum and this is the first time posting so please forgive any mistakes !
I have a Audi cabriolet 1998 ADR engine code , the car has suddenly lost all power .The engine starts but will cut out when you try to rev up , but if you slowly and slightly press the accelerater pedal will rev as high as you want. At no stage does it misfire,I have checked for leaks around inlet manifold and vacuumn pipes etc.
I have had the fault codes read !
They are:
01247. Evaporative canp regulator valve -N80.short with ground.
17923. Intake manifold changeover valve -N156 short with ground.
P1515
17935.bank 1 camshaft adjustment-N205 short with ground.P1527
16486 Mass airflow sensor-G70 signal too low P0102
00515.Hall Sensor-G40 short with ground..(any idea seems like ECU
i suppose i am going to need a wiring diagram)
Regards

I agree with the Russian. I don't have any idea what engine that is (US only it 12v V6) but I just had very similar symptoms in my AAN powered 95 S6. The MAF was the culprit.
Try unplugging the MAF completely and see if the engine runs better with it unplugged. That's a sure sign of a bad MAF - the ECU will assume normal idle conditions if there is no signal at all.
