Default Auto to manual seat swap?

Ok, I searched the forum. I've come up with varying info. Some say swap the metal bottom so the manual seats will fit. Others say it requires cutting/welding. I hope it's the first...?

Also, is it true that the '95 90 LED heated seat switched won't work in my '90 20v? I think I heard that the switch will smoke? Or is that the other way around?

Thanks!

Default Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but ...

...where in Germany did you get the wiring harness from for the adjuster motors?

Default In a B4, you need the center support bracket that allows the seat to slide front-back...

...otherwise, the side rails between the power and manual seats are the same. So pretty much, I think what you need to do is weld in that middle support bracket that the front of the seat attaches to in order to slide.

When we did the manual --> power seat mod in my car, we had to cut that bracket off/out.

Default To the car's frame.

Here's a look at the bracket attached to the car (originally equipped with manual seats). So this is the bracket we cut off to go manual-->power.
