On a B3, lower door side moldings, how do you pop those white clips onto the studs on the door?

The white clips? Yeah, you push them down...I was reusing an old one...
...and I swore I was gonna break it. Soaked it in hot water for a few to make it a little more flexible...all is well.

Found a few used ones at the yard I go to...still straight and true...
...I refuse to pay the dealer price for new ones...as...the 80 isn't really worth'm.
