Hey guys, i just got my B&G S2 Sprins last night to lower my B4 1994 Audi 90 AWD. I was wondering if anyone knows of any threads or posts about how to do it or such. Or if anyone has any hints or tricks to help me out.
Im doing it at a friends house tomorrow and he has a spring compressor and everything and did it to his Subaru WRX himself.
Thanks for the help!!!!

There is a special tool for the nut with 2 notches in it you need to have or make a tool to hold the stut rod in the strut mount. The lock nut on top is basically just like other lock nuts for struts. You'll have to disconnect the steering tie rod, sway bar link, and the 2 bolt/nuts on the knuckle. And that's pretty much it for the front. I haven't worked on the rears but maybe searching for a how to may help you with that or get the bently manual for info on the rears. I've read it and the whole assembly can be unbolted out of the car, compress spring and take the strut/shock out. It mentions something about rotaing the rod a certain amount of degrees to line up with the mount.. I guess once spring pressure is reapplied, it'll be difficult to rotate the "head" on the bottom to match with the control arm.
As far as I know it's just that special tool you need to make the job easier. It can be found on germanautoparts.com or blauparts.com... check them... or make your own.
