for ball joints is it even part number for drivers side and odd part umber for passengers side???

Default for ball joints is it even part number for drivers side and odd part umber for passengers side???

or is it the other way around.
I asked once before how to tell which wheel bearing was the right and which the left, someone explained to me that the one with the odd part number was for "X" side and the even number was for the "other" side

I searched but can not find the post.
