With a Big Brake upgrade does ABS go away? I know..

the braking performance is significantly improved over the G60's, no argument. ABS would still be nice to have in those wintry months. I was just curious what to expect when I pull the trigger in the next couple months. Thanks.

It shouldnt go away, unless you make it go away...

When changing calipers and rotors you dont really effect the ABS unit or its pressurized sensors IIRC...

Exactly

They are two seperate systems, which is why you can remove the ABS, and still have functioning brakes. Your brakes are mechanical, and the ABS is electrical.

Cool, thanks guys. Wasn't sure if there was some proprietary connectors..

But if I understand it now I was bass ackwards in my initial question. The ABS modulates the pressure in the line for the wheel that needs it. Thereby it doesn't matter what caliper is used.
