Default after u add the new fluid open the valve on the caliper and have a buddy

push the brake pedal to the floor and then close. Repeat untill u see clean fluid comming out. Or use a pressure bleeder =) good investment!!!!

Default speaking of the pressure bleeders

I have seen those for sale in various places for about 45 bucks, do they work as good as claimed?
if you get the one for your car it matches the cap, then you add pressure to a certain amount (blow off valve so it doesnt explode?)
fill the thing with fluid, pop the bleeder (which is usually impossible) and bingo, fluid will squirt like a garden hose.....
sound about right?

This is an advantage to the solo effort when bleeding brakes. Where normally you'd need 2 people to do the job.

I use the one I have, to pressurize the resivour to 5 psi, as indicated on the gauge on the pressure bleeder, then bleed the brake calipers as needed. I dont pour any brake fluid in my bressure bleeder. Keeps it cleaner, and easier to maintain over the years. ;O)

http://www.bmw-m.net/TechProc/bleeder.htm</a
