I have a 1994 Audi cabriolet. I plan on replacing the front and rear shocks. My plan was to use Bilstein HD in the front and the Boge/ Sachs OEM in the rear. Would this cause any imbalance/ driveability between the firmness of the different shocks ? I would think the fronts are more important. I would love to go Bilstein HD front and rear but its not an option in the US.

Would likely understeer more, and sit lower. Have you looked into fitting B4 FWD or B3 FWD rear dampers? The Cabrio is just a modified B3/B4 FWD, so they may work. Several part numbers are shared between the three cars. The panhard rod, stub axle, hub/bearing, etc to name a few.

My Bentleys manual doesn't even show the correct Cab rear struts. Anybody know the spec on the torques for all the bolts? My Boge replacements are still in the box waiting for me to do the job.
