Default Camshaft half moon seal

Hi all - Have a 1990 90q 20v that's got an oil leak from the 2nd of two half moon seals on rear of valve cover. It just appears to be missing the seal (one closer to drivers side). I've ordered new oens and was wondering if it was possible to get one in there without removing the valve cover. As an alternative would it make sense to try to fill it with rtv?

Thanks

Default Bite the bullet and do it right. I don't think you can get a new seal in there

without tearing the crap out of it. If that cam seal has rotted and fallen out the rest of the upper end gaskets aren't far behind.

Order an intake manifold gasket and a full valve cover gasket kit - you will get more cam seals - from a worldpac distributor. I like www.autohausaz.com. It takes a couple of hours if you are slow. But, your top end will now be high and dry.
