Can ball joints be repaired with a ball joint tool, or do they have to be replaced every time?

Default Can ball joints be repaired with a ball joint tool, or do they have to be replaced every time?

Can the tool shown be used to tighten up a loose ball joint? It is decribed as a ball joint press.

Default Re: That particular tool is used to remove & install ! ;o)

Except on your Audi its not requird as your ball joints all unscrew or unbolt. )
