Can I transplant an ECU for the 2.3L 20v that was meant for a different vehicle into my 1990 CQ?
Here's the ECU I want to use:
Hitachi mms-04b e3 00483
Audi p/n: 893 906 266BA
It's in Germany, so it's safe to say it's Euro spec and was probably for a different vehicle other than the CQ.
I haven't had a chance to look at what my stock ECU part number is. Anyone with this vehicle know what the stock ECU part number is?

sure no problem. I checked ETKA and it does list this part number as a valid ECU, but I just don't
know if my VIN meets the VIN split called out parts catalog. I'm too lazy to go out and check the VIN (still not titled yet).
