Looks like you got a pair of Vogtland 50/50 front-to-rear weight bias springs for your 60/40 front-to-rear weight bias Audi. Next they'll want to show you their TUV certification for that combination like they did the B4 people. Then they'll tell you they're working on it for another 14 months and not do anything. Then they'll tell you "we're really working on it now" before disappearing again for who knows how long.
Guess them saying "we may have a problem with some early Audi springs" really isnt limited to B4 only.
Better try to straighten this out with the distributor you bought these from IMMEDIATELY or you're in for a L O N G wait to get the right springs if Vogtland gets involved.
Aside from all my previous ramblings of Vogtland being the worst in customer service, customer care and customer follow-up I'm starting to view this manufacturer as TOTALLY inept and incapable of doing even one thing right! Whatta bunch of f*^k-ups!

and taller than rears! And it just doesnt make sense to use identical springs front rear when there's over 1,000lbs weight difference between front/rear. Even stock uses a heavier spring up front. I'll see if I can find the pics of my B3 H&Rs.
I cant find my pics of my old set but I've included a link to a set Blau is auctioning. Hard to see the wire gauge difference in this pic but the length difference, coil count and coil spacing between front/rear is obvious.

H&R sport srpings 10V 80/90
