Default Cat replacement?

I have a 95 QUATTRO and one of my cats is gone (rattling). Could you run the two downpipes together and send them into one 3" cat instead of running two smaller ones? What have you guys done and how did it end up working? I know the most popular remedy is to replace with summit universal cats does anyone have the part # for the cats you used? thanks for all the help Merry Christmas to All!

Default Summit Cats

I used the CTO-6806. But my system has custom 2.5" pipe through-out.

If your not changing the pipe, you can run the
CTO-6805's(2.25) cats.

Audi actually has a single cat design in their parts listings for the V6, but the car is not here on US soil.

http://store.summitracing.com/product.asp?d=8&s=44&p=3187&searchtype =ecat</a
