Caveat Emptor. (long)

Sucks man, but def dispute it w/ Paypal...
there's no reason you should give this guy a free ride. Send back his parts and dispute the charge, or just dispute the charge and show Paypal the email of him accepting that he'd take the parts back for a refund.
Audifans is a helpful and frustrating thing for both sellers and buyers at times. I've parted out a few cars, and it rubs me raw when I get people that want this, that, and whatever else. I go through the effort of taking hte parts from the car, come up with fair prices (which the buyer agrees are fair), and then when everything adds up they're no where to be found. Instead of giving me the the common courteousy of letting me know they're no longer interested, I just get unanswered emails.

Latin for (roughly) "I am so glad you translated that for me." But "caveat emptor"...
when translated "literally/exactly" means "hollow place a (for) buying (purchasing)" which has over the years been adapted/condensed to "buyer beware."

I think the use is contextual. The literal translation means little without context.
So said my college Latin instructor.
But Mance knows Latin??? I am seriously impressed.

7 formal years of Latin. English can be "contextual" but NEVER Latin...
as it is virtually a 100% literal language in EVERY dialect. The Roman Catholic Church took some "editorial license" with Latin as did the Portugese over the centuries.
I had to transcribe the Constitution of the United States into Latin once to get an "A" in a class. It took a year to accomplish it and was scrutinized seven-ways-to-Sunday for errors. I got a "C" on the transcription and a B in the class and dropped Latin my senior year. If Latin were "contextual" at all I would've ACED it hands-down! I was hopping PISSED as there went my 4.0!!
