Anyone know of a good source for the CD changer for a '95 cabrio? Looking for my step-father's car. I'm in the US.
Thanks in advance,
Andreas
Oh, yeah - I just bought a 91 Coupe! I pick it up on Saturday

save your step dad money and get something like a clarion 6-disc changer...the OE unit is expensive, and trunk mounted, and no better. if he really really wants the audi changer, then check places like blaufergnugen (or several of the others) that offer them...also, the OE changer only works with the Delta radio. will not work with the Gamma. however, the Gamma is a Blaupunkt, so maybe a blaupunkt changer would work...crutchfield carries blupunkt car items (decks, changers, speakers, amps).

Thank you for the fine advice.
Personally, I agree and suggested he just by a new head unit w/ an in-dash disc player. He wants to keep it original. He picked it up this winter with fewer than 12K on the Odo!

no problem...my sister was going to put an OE changer in her '98, but decided after i showed her the ave. price of one not to. she still hasn't gotten a changer for it, why i don't know...i love my clarion, had to replace the controller for it however (was in the car for like 2 years, then something got shorted on the same circuit, toasted the controller, new controller w/wireless remote was much cheaper than a new changer).
