Default My goal was to restore both cars to near new condition...

..and I am nearing that conclusion. The CQ gets a body massage and new paint next summer while the 4K is the daily driver.

It has been about 5 years of project work swapping off on both cars in hunting down the OEM parts and the wrench turning tasks. I still have a few little dicky things to do but both are around 95% complete now.

Overall it has been worth it because for the price of a new Jetta, I have two rare and exotic Audis.

My wife and chief financial officer says my next project I have to sell to get my cash flow back. She's right I know, but I hate parting with my project cars.

I am looking at an 84 Mercedes 500 SEC AMG with a hooped motor as the next project. We'll see if it stays after completion....

Default Think you can get the paint done in the spring so the CQ would be ready for Burien?

Or are you taking the 4ktd again?
