Is this blown bulbs or soldering points on the climate control and how do I access the bulbs or remove the circuit board to check things out? Also the clock & shift indicator on the intrument cluster are not working
Thanks

What year and model car do you have?
On my '93 b4 90CS, I took out the automatic climate control unit by first carefully prying the wood panel out, then unbolting the CC unit which has 2 4mm allens, then disconnect the wires and you can access the 4 bulbs from the back (no need to open it up).
For the instrument cluster, I took out 2 phillips head screws from the bottom of the steering column cover, then I took the top half of the cover off and set it aside. I Unscrewed the cluster and pulled it out, disconnected the plugs, and then you can access the bulbs from the back side. There are 6 bulbs total.
I just converted mine to LEDs last week so it's still fresh in my mind. Hope this helps!

No problem.
If your clock and/or temp display lights aren't working as well, the clock bulb is easily replaced just like the rest of them, but the temp display bulb is soldered in directly on the circuit board so you have to take out the temp display unit and open it. It's not super hard, just a hassle.

Hey 3l33ter, where did you get the leds for the cluster? Did you switch to white or are they amber/red? 'Cause I have a bunch out in my cluster too, can't tell how fast I'm going at night unless it's over 80mph...haha
