Default Cold start problem- 1989 Audi 90 Q

1989 Audi 90 Quattro that is new to me. Will start when cold after two or three tries but does not run properly until warm. Once warm, after 5 minutes or so, it runs well. Where should I look for the problem?

This is my first Audi and I am not versed in the system.

Thanks!

Default

Check the coolant temperature sensor (CTS, about 1.4k ohm when cold I think )) and power is presenting ( 5V?) at the connection of CTS. Loosening wiring at the CTS course a hard starting problem too. x19
